The explosive conclusion to Veronica Roth's #1 New York Times bestselling Divergent series of books reveals the secrets of the dystopian world that captivated millions of readers and film fans in Divergent and Insurgent.

One choice will define you. What if your whole world was a lie? What if a single revelation—like a single choice—changed everything? What if love and loyalty made you do things you never expected?

Told from a riveting dual perspective, this third installment in the series follows Tris and Tobias as they battle to comprehend the complexities of human nature—and their selves—while facing impossible choices of courage, allegiance, sacrifice, and love.

Best ending and best story ever!!! I was bawling. No wonder Allegiant movie got such a bad review, it was completely different from the real story.

the ending just ruined it. I feel robbed. you invest all that time and feelings towards the characters for it to end that way.

This book hit me sooo hard on an emotional and spiritual level. Amazing work of art and finale to a rare series I would deem a masterpiece

I liked the first two books except the abrupt end of book 2 which really was not an ending of a book, more like a chapter ending. I hated this third book. The whole plot was very disjointed and not true to the characters at all. The ending was very disappointing. Ugh. I also did not enjoy having the narrators switch and was not sold on the male reader.

Very good book if they would have made the movie just like the book they would have been great.

The first two were much better but you obviously want to see how it ends. This one is really hitting you with the moral of the whole series and leaving you with a message about true selflessness. I STILL CANNOT FREAKING BELIEVE IT THOUGHHH!!! It definitely made me lose trust in one of my cardinal rules about book reading and I am still in shock.

I enjoyed most of the book but HATED the ending! I kind of feel robbed with the ending after reading the entire series. The readers do a great job and I liked hearing things from each Tris and Four's perspectives.

I have read the books and watched the movies, they were both amazing. Between the both they are not too much alike. I prefer the movies but still great books.

*This Review Contains Spoilers* The book is more so an explanation of how this dystopian world works with governments and experiments and technological advancements rather than an action packed book like the previous 2. I like the voice and narration of Tris (I do wish that she had more emotion sometimes though. She tends to make even happy moments seem like they are sad). I did not like Tobias' narration at all. Tobias seems like a big strong character to me (and that was also displayed in the movie) and the voice of Tobias seemed small and like a passive, weak voice. Not the tall, muscular, commanding presence that was a top dog in Dauntless like the book describes.

Great narration and captivating story line! I liked that it was narrated by male and female as it made it more realistic. And I love audiobooks- I can "read" while doing other things.

This was the first audio book I listened to. It was quite lengthy but I really enjoyed it. The male and female narration was my favorite aspect of this book.

i normally don't get into books at all but this series has me hooked. This book wasn't as action packed as the others but still a fantastic book. The readers where great, they did a very good job.

Excellent book series! Can't wait to read all About Four.

The narration was excellent but the story was not as good as the 1st two. It seems as if Ms. Roth ran low on ideas in this book. Tris and Four are still my favorite young adult characters though.

While I did enjoy the dual narrators, the actual book left something to be desired. The plot was tolerable until about 1 1/2 hours left, I dislike the ending. It seemed like the author had written herself into a corner and couldn't think of anything else... The first two were exponentially better.

The two people who read were great! The author wrote every other chapter in the voice of the two main characters which I like. Gyllian Flynn does that. However I don't like that my 6th graders are reading it & the 16 yr old character has sex. I will no longer recommend it to my students :(

alittle disappointed with the third book. the first two were better, but all in all a good series.

I really enjoyed the dual narrators. The book, on the other hand, was not the best of series and I found a little disappointing. With the exception of the first few paragraphs, it was like listening to a redundant biology/chemistry dissertation. Many topics that were obvious or proven earlier within the plot were droned out in mind numbing detail. So much more could have been done to liven up the plot. I do like the characters however. I just wish that the action and excitement of the other books were reflected in this final edition.

An interesting book. Not one of the best but definitely nicely narrated. Wish the storyline was more interesting though.

A fitting end to the story. This one is told from two perspectives which adds to the story nicely and makes it more interesting than the first two.
