Pretty good. Some parts of the book seemed to be unnecessary and typical--such as the romance--however the book is very interesting and good. I look forward to seeing the movie. However, since I know Tom Hanks (who I normally like) plays the role of Robert Langdon, I struggled with reconciling the image in my head with Tom Hanks. Oh well! The narration was good.

I loved the movie, but the book was so much more complete. Well written and exciting.

If you liked the movie, you definitely want to listen to this book... Dan Brown is not only a master tale spinner, but the reader is very good as well... At times I could picture Tom Hanks as he read... lol

Kind of boring in more than one place... Long....

I found a lot of this book idiotic. Couldn't finish it. The main characters are supposed to be scientists and every little detail has to be spelled out for them. Brown apparently believes his readers won't be able to figure anything out without being spoon-fed. Examples: it never occurs to a (petite) female scientist that a security system based on retinal scanning might be anything but fool-proof-- right off the bat I can think of a couple of ways that my retina might be scanned against my will. And she, raised by a priest, can't imagine why ROME would be targeted by an anti-religious group! Two examples out of fifty. I had to bail.

This book got so tedious, I really couldn't finish listening to it. I like the reader but it got to be too much.

Excellent narration, dramatic plot, found myself miles past my destination while listening and driving...infinite kudos!!!!

This was ok, but it was really long on details. Hope you like it.

If you are looking for a new experience, unlike other books, with a blend of fact and fiction, slight romance, plenty of insane violence, and the thrusts of dogma in a modern age up against reason and technology... this book will not be boring. It may be absurd. Still, though it is absurd, it is almost believable... as much of life and the leadership we see around the world behaving with extreme values and beliefs... fitting for our times.

This was a very good and engaging book. I had heard that it was a Catholic bashing. I found some parts inspiring and other parts distressing, like a good book should be. I didn't find it Catholic bashing.
