Summary
Caught in the crosshairs of a deadly standoff, Detective Michael Bennett must kill...or be killed.

Snow blankets the avenues of Manhattan's exclusive Upper West Side. The storm is the perfect cover for a fashionable, highly trained team of lethal assassins as they prowl the streets, hunting their prey. But their first hit is simply target practice. Their next mission may very well turn the Cold War red-hot once again.

Stepping directly into the line of fire, the president of the United States is in New York for a summit at the United Nations with his Russian counterpart. Pulled away from his family and pressed into service, Detective Michael Bennett must trace the source of a threat that could rip the country apart--and ignite a war the likes of which the world has never seen. With allegiances constantly in doubt and no one above suspicion, only Bennett can save the president--and the country--before the assassins' deadly kill shot hits its mark.

I am a huge Michael Bennett fan. I have read or listened to them all. But I do NOT like the narrator on Bullseye. His reading is choppy and doesn't seem practiced. I am a big Bobby Carnavale as narrator fan. The story of Bullseye was OK, but the listening was hard to get through.

Great listen for a long boring drive in the car alone. Lots of mystery and excitement your expect from James Patterson. The characters really come to life and the plot is well developed and holds your attention.

James Patterson nails it once again. His characters stay true to their creation and the plot moved along splendidly. Of all his characters, Michael Bennett is my favorite His is a cop's cop and father to his enormous family. Each job is full time, but he handled both with equal attention. New Yorkers can feel safe with Detective Bennett is around. This is a good read without the language and violence too often used to grab attention. Crime can be violent but solving doesn't necessarily need be. Thanks for portraying an officer with skill and dignity

Not my favorite Michael Bennett stories but there was plenty of action. The storyline was decent but the ending typical.
