Now an AT&T Audience Original Series

The fabulously suspenseful and 'smashing' (The New York Times Book Review) final novel in the Bill Hodges trilogy from the #1 New York Times bestselling author of Mr. Mercedes and Finders Keepers!

For nearly six years, in Room 217 of the Lakes Region Traumatic Brain Injury Clinic, Brady Hartsfield has been in a persistent vegetative state. A complete recovery seems unlikely for the insane perpetrator of the “Mercedes Massacre,” in which eight people were killed and many more maimed for life. But behind the vacant stare, Brady is very much awake and aware, having been pumped full of experimental drugs...scheming, biding his time as he trains himself to take full advantage of the deadly new powers that allow him to wreak unimaginable havoc without ever leaving his hospital room. Brady Hartsfield is about to embark on a new reign of terror against thousands of innocents, hell-bent on taking revenge against anyone who crossed his path—with retired police detective Bill Hodges at the very top of that long list....

Amazing ending to an awesome series! *Spoilers Upcoming - Warning* It's sad to see beloved characters get killed off or die however, it helps bring context to stroy telling. I actually read through these characters in specific Holly Gibbney backwards by reading Outsiders, If it Bleeds, and now the Bill Hodges series. As Bill was a stapled character mentioned throughout the books after he passed I see why Holly Gibney character embodied the persona of Bill. The development of Brady was masterful, as he became more sadistic the more he craved suicides. I look forward to see more from Herome and Holly in the future or just further development and linkage to Sycamore street as this series and Fairy Tale are set within.

The end of an era! RIP Bill Hodges! Another awesome read! I held it together until the very end and then cried (I knew I would!) I LOVE LOVE LOVE Holly Gibney! She’s my most favourite character (especially when Will Patton reads her!!) This book was a nice ending to the trilogy! I could have easily read another 5 novels with the Bill Hodges Squad (but it is what it is!!) ENJOY!!

Good finale, I agree that the story did get predictable at times but overall I enjoyed this last book of the series and was sad that it ended. I will miss the characters too. Will Patton is an excellent narrator.

This book was a fitting closure to the series. The twist and turns the storybook could only have been perfected by someone of Stephen King‘s stature. I would recommend this series to anyone who likes Stephen King‘s writing. And now I am looking forward to the spinoffof Holly.

WOW!!! This book was extremely hard for me because of my dad and the year 2015. But, again I could not stop listening. I can't wait for the book Holly to come out.

I first met these characters when reading the short story, If It Bleeds. I remember being so annoyed by annoyed by the voice and cadence Will Patton gave the character, but ultimately grew to like her. Then I found out there were other books that came before. Now I know (and love) the Bill Hodges character Holly kept referring to, and most importantly, I came to love the way Will developed Holly's character and came to love Holly. Listening to If It Bleeds again with a different eye. Oh....I didn't mention Steven Kings writing, but do I need to? I've rarely read anything of his I didn't like. Well done.

Great way to conclude the trilogy and Will Patton is an amazing narrator, by far one of my favorites he just make the book come to life!

This was a good wrap up for the Mr. Mercedes series. Very well done. The narrator was ok in most of it, but I have to say I did not like the way he read the Holly character at all...Too robotic and not relatable at all. It was kind of like listening to an old lady robot. Hearing that character’s dialogue read that way was really annoying and distracting. I wish he would have just read it the way a normal person would speak like he did with the other characters. Other than that, it was good.

I am obsessed with Bill Hodges and Holly Gibney and am 100% convinced it’s because Will Patton is such a phenomenal narrator. I’ll be listening to al three again soon.

Mr. Mercedes was the best but End of Watch was a close second. Will Patton, as always, only enhances the story with subtle nuances for each character, allowing the listener to suspend disbelief all the more easily.

Great book. I love all Stephen King books but especially the characters in this book. I am going to start this trilogy again as I so loved this book. I could listen to Will Patton all day. He always brings a book to life.

I'm so sad to finish this trilogy! Bill, Jerome, and Holly have become like friends and I will miss their chemistry. The books were examples of the best cop fiction: thrilling and yet cozy. The books do not deal with the supernatural as a main theme but rather as a slow boil that builds up to a crescendo. So many moments of suspense and mystery would never fail to satisfy upon resolution. My only complaint is that EOW feels more like a sequel to MM. the Second book, FC, is only mentioned in passing comments. I was expecting that Peter Saunbers would have joined the crimefighting, alas no. Will Patton has become my favorite narrator. Excellent as always and I'm glad he is the voice of so many King audiobooks.

I absolutely loved all three of these books. Hodges, Holly, Jerome all of the characters were great and Will Patton is beyond excellent! I feel Like I personally know Hodges, Holly and Jerome. I actually feel a loss now that I have finished this trilogy.

A great book, but not as good as the others. The narrator does an excellent job over all, but I can't stand the voice he does for Holly. It drives me nuts.

This was ok. Better than most thrillers by different authors as Stephen King is a thriller God, but I did enjoy Mr. Mercedes more. This book just didn't have the same feel for character development that I'm used to from Stephen King. However, I still enjoyed it. I love Wil Patton too, which helps. He's one of my favorite readers of all time.

Writing was definitely Steven King, a master. Really liked Mr. Mercedes, and this was OK too but not as good as Mr. Mercedes.

I don't know what to say that hasn't been said time and time again about Stephen King's writing ability. I have read all his novels and many of his short stories, I have never been disappointed with the originality, and the ability to create something unique and interesting each and every time. If you haven't listened to Stephen King, listen to this trilogy, then the rest of King's books. If you have read any of his books, then I am preaching to the choir.
