Summary
Dear listener,The temperature’s on “sizzle” again in Beaumont, South Carolina, where peach trees are in season and ripe for the picking. So is its newest entrepreneur, Annie Fortenberry, who has inherited her grandmother’s B&B (and its eccentric handyman Erdle Thorney). According to a local psychic she also inherited a spirit from its glory days as a brothel—not the kind of publicity the Peach Tree Bed & Breakfast needs if it’s hosting millionaire Max Holt’s upcoming wedding! If rumors of a naughty, prank-playing ghost aren’t stressful enough, a mysterious man has arrived with an eye on Annie and her master suite. Wes Bridges is all leather and denim, sporting a two-day beard, straddling a Harley, and sending the B&B’s testosterone level through the roof. Annie’s cool demeanor may be dropping as fast as Wes’s jeans, but leave it to her missing ex-husband to dampen the passion! Turns out someone has done him in, and all evidence points to Annie! Wrapped up in a murder plot, Annie must find the killer, save her own neck, and get back to where she was—wrapped up in Wes’s strong loving arms…We guarantee that you’re going to have as much fun listening to Full Bloom as we had writing it! (Even if we were surprised by the ending!) And you won’t want to miss the hair-raising shenanigans when Fleas, the hound dog, meets the most cantankerous, snooty, bad-tempered, twenty-two-pound orange cat…Janet & Charlotte

Another great book from this author! Love the whimsical storyline, all the chaos and general shenanigans.

Like all of Janet Evanovich's books outside of Stephanie Plum, I found this book to be completely adorable. Easy to laugh with and lighten the heart.

I still enjoyed the book and the story but it didn't quite have the flavor of the other books -- maybe because you would have thought the focus would have been more on some of the favorite characters it almost was like reading a different series, but it was still enjoyable, made me chuckle and will continue to read on!

Fun and sexy and easy listening. Reader is excellent. Plot was a bit predictable, but who cares? I usually listen in my car and a couple of times I had to pull over because I was laughing so hard. Great written and spoken characters.

Good book. Not as good as the others but still quite entertaining. Can't wait to get the last one.

BACK IN BEAUMONT AND LOVING IT. THE CHARACTERS ARE SO MUCH FUN. I LOVE HOW SHE INCORPORATES CHARACTERS FROM PREVIOUS BOOKS WITH THIS ONE. YOU FIND OUT WHAT IS HAPPENING WITH THEM AS WELL AS MEETING NEW ONES. JUST LOVED IT.

I read some of the other reviews before I listened to this CD but I don't agree with them. I have always liked Janet Evonovich's books and this was no exception. Yes, there were a lot of characters but that makes it more interesting. It was a crazy zany story but it was a for fun book and it made me laugh out loud in the car driving to and from work. Some people take their books and listening far to seriously!! This was a just for fun story and I enjoyed it.

Even though Jamie & Max were not the dominate characters, I enjoyed this story just the same. Good job Janet & Charlotte. The reader is always a bonus.

Occasionaly I digress from my usual selections to some ligher "brain candy" types of books. Sometimes I am surprised by how entertaining I find these books, but this was definitely NOT the case for "Full Bloom". The writing was awful, the characters cartoonish, and the plot inane. Unfortunately I was trapped in the car on a long auto trip with no other books to listen to so I suffered through 5 CDs before I finally returned home and sent the book back! At least the narrator was talented. Judging from other reviews, some people liked this book--but as far as I am concerned it had no redeeming value.

In a word Stinks. Unless you had read the previous books, in this series, you would not know who the characters are and how they're connected. I didn't get through the first CD.

I liked this book very much. It had great characters and was fun to read. I thought the story was great It had many things going all at once and still keep to the mystery that was the main theme. I would recommend the book.
