Against all odds, Katniss Everdeen has survived the Hunger Games twice. But now that she's made it out of the bloody arena alive, she's still not safe. The Capitol is angry. The Capitol wants revenge. Who do they think should pay for the unrest? Katniss. And what's worse, President Snow has made it clear that no one else is safe either. Not Katniss's family, not her friends, not the people of District 12. Powerful and haunting, this thrilling final installment of Suzanne Collins's groundbreaking The Hunger Games trilogy promises to be one of the most talked about books of the year.

Books were great, I found the narrator to be just fine, very clear and patient and well spoken and slow reading so I could follow easily. Unlike you idiots who only concentrate on her "voice" talents. She's reading a book. Get over it.

I agree with the other reviews......the narrator pretty much ruined it for me.

Great book! However, I agree that the narrator is not appropriate for this one. She sounds much older than the characters.

I gave a three because the book itself is wonderful! The narrator however is atrocious. She gives fake british accents to random characters and is all around pretty dull.

Narrating better than it seams. No pun intended. ???? Amazing book.

This review is based on my second reading: When I first read the book I was dissatisfied with the ending. There would be challenges ahead but the lovebird Tributes would heal and face them together, even having two children together. However, the twist end of killing President Coin WAS satisfying. Maybe instead of ending up with Peta, she goes with Hamish? That would have been different, healing for Hamish. Although in retrospect that is another aspect of the story, sometimes not everyone heals.

Enough already of this series! The story just got tiresome. The narrator made Katniss sound a little hokey at times.

I loved both the books and movies. The Books always go into way more detail..but the Movies just brings that much more emotion to the storylines!!!

I thought the narrator did a very good job, had lots of enthusiasm, and was easy to follow. Overall, I really liked the book! Had a great concept and kept me interested until the last chapter.
