Summary
Perhaps the most influential science book ever written, On the Origin of Species has continued to fascinate readers for more than a century after its initial publication. Its controversial theory that populations evolve and adapt through a process known as natural selection led to heated scientific, philosophical and religious debate, revolutionizing every discipline in its wake. With its clear, concise and surprisingly enjoyable prose, On the Origin of Species is both captivating and edifying.

One of the most interesting about "The origin of species" for me is, that whilst I sometimes loose the faide of understanding - due listening - the same structure keeps popping up into my mind. This structure is of course heavily influenced by the words and descriptions used by Mr. Charles Robert Darwin, but all in one it's always the same structure. It might be only a too narrow point of view, but it seems for me that the Author somehow managed not only to describe what he means but also to use words as foundations which amazingly structure the readers understanding and imagination. This book is one of the most amazing achievement of the Human species'.
