Summary
Robin Hood is a heroic outlaw in English folklore. A highly skilled archer and swordsman, he is known for "robbing from the rich and giving to the poor", assisted by a group of fellow outlaws known as his "Merry Men". Traditionally Robin Hood and his men are depicted wearing Lincoln green clothes. The origin of the legend is claimed by some to have stemmed from actual outlaws, or from ballads or tales of outlaws.

A bit of a back-handed compliment, but I enjoyed listening to this book despite how robotic the narrator was. He sounded like he was reading it for the first time (or about what I would probably sound like if I were reading a book out loud -- and that's not a compliment). List at 1.2x and it's not bad. I still recommend the book though.

It was fun comparing the orignal to the movies I've seen the last 50 years or so. Pretty close, only a few changes from the older ones. Great that the original closes the story with a chapter about the remainder of Robin's and Marian's lives.
