The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe

I enjoyed this book. I liked The Magicians Nephew more but this carried the same fairy tale adventure feeling as the last. Light hearted and easy to follow.

Great book for adults and children alike. The symbolism was very subtle. The lion is a substitute for the little boy. What does this remind you of?

I remember reading this book in the past, but for some reason I remember there being more...the mind of a child I guess. At any rate, as an adult it is still and entertaining book and worth the time to listen to. The reader also does a very good job.

The reader was excellent. I loved the book and would read again.

One of my favorites as a child and just as good now that I am - ahem - older.

I was surprised how close the movie stayed with the book. Excellent book.

This was my first C. S. Lewis - ever. After listening to all the Potter books and finding them extremely entertaining, I was rather disappointed in this. I found the language rather stilted - but maybe that's just the way they wrote back then. The narrator did a good job, and the story was good. Maybe I need to listen to the rest of the Chronicles to get the full flavor.

Good listen and very entertaining...but then Lewis always is!
