Good entertaining, but lacks some suspense! The narration is very discouraging.

Unless you are accent-intolerant, no accent was so heavy that you could not understand the narrator. Great book.

I loved this classic mystery. It was well plotted and had a nice twist at the end. I also enjoyed having different readers take a turn at chapters. It focused my attention on aspects of the plot.

It was a very entertaining book however the narration at times was just awful.

I enjoyed the story line. The mystery was great. The author kept you guessing. I that the narrator talked a little monotone. Great book to read.

Narrators very poor

The author does a very good job developing characters, adding details and writing a complex plot. The readers change from chapter to chapter so at times I had to adjust the volume or speed of the reader. There were also different accents. I would love to listen again if there could be one English reader.

I only listened to a sentence so can't comment on content, but narration dull.

The story was interesting and well woven. The narrators varied, their changing and the inability to pronounce some English names was distracting. With the main characters being male, male narrators would have been more preferable. Some of the female narrators were poor and the one from India was at times difficult to follow.

Unfortunately any book from the libri vox audio are narrated by volunteers who think they have beautiful voices, alas, they do not. They have no colour pitch tone intonation creativity and lack story telling, resulting in my ears bleeding. They all and I mean all sound awful and very unpleasant to listen to.

Would have liked it better if readers did not change

was ok...each chapter was announced and different readers bit distracting...

Lots of background noise, narration was very mixed voices and accents which wasn’t always easy to understand.

Excellent, I loved the story.

I know it is a free book but the levels of recording were erratic. The language in the book is of another era and was sometimes rather staid.

I liked the story. I had trouble with having each chapter read by a different person. For me personally it really detracted from the story.

I think I would have enjoyed the story if the narratives were better. Not the best book I’ve heard but it passed the time on a long drive

Narrators were hit & miss.

Some narrators were good, others not so much. Pick them better and without speech imperfections and accents

Great story. Change of narrator every chapter took a bit getting use to. I enjoy the story.

Too many different narrators, I’ve listened to other books by JS Fletcher and MaryAnn is by far the best narrator.

I enjoyed the story, with its twists and turns. The narration by nonEnglish speakers was a bit off putting.
