Unabridged Audiobook
Having listened to many British naval historical novels (and non-fiction accounts), the hardest part about this book was listening to the narrator read it with an AMERICAN accent, rather than a BRITISH one.
This is the story as told by Lt. Bligh himself. It contains a lot of detail about navigation and weather that might make it tedious if you are expecting a novel. I enjoyed it. The prose is crisp. It is a credit to the author. I enjoyed the narrative style. It was about the way I'd expect a sea captain to tell the story.
