George S Clason is best known for writing a series of informational pamphlets about being thrifty and how to achieve financial success. He started writing the pamphlets in 1926, using parables that were set in ancient Babylon. Banks and insurance companies began to distribute the parables and the most famous ones were compiled into the book The Richest Man in Babylon. It is this book which has etched the name of George S Clason into the history books and has provided generations of readers not just an inspirational classic for reading pleasure but sound practical principles of financial discipline. The most powerful book on wealth ever written. It takes the very complex art of personal finance and distills it into a simple science.

This book was recommended to me by multiple people and I want to recommend it to you. Such amazing stories and examples of living a wise life not stuck in the thought of being a victim. We all have the power to make choices. Yes, some might have an advantage over others but we all can make decisions on how to use our time wisely. Seek wisdom, not get rich schemes. A few ideas that stuck out: •Wealth grows wherever man exerts energy •Learn to make your treasure work for you •Take advantage of opportunity •A man’s income is the wealth he builds •There is abundance for all •Good luck fleas from procrastination - enemy of success - drives away opportunities •To attract good luck you must take advantage of good opportunities •Good luck follows opportunity •Action will lead you forward •Without wisdom gold is lost •Where the determination is, the way can be found
