An odd little story. It took a completely different turn than I expected. Not sure if I like that or not.

O and is he stupid. But I suppose he wants to be obedient, which is something an angel is supposed to be. If you like dark humor and don't mind "irreverence with respect". This is the story for you. I gotta read me some more Moore. brains

This book led me to read almost all of Christopher Moore's works. One of the funniest laugh out loud books out there but it is a different kind of humor. If you can't take a joke listen to the 1 star reviews, otherwise you will absolutely love this one. Definitely comedy - not horror.

This is one of Moore's weirder books. I thought it was a little too much... but there were definitely some funny moments to it...

Another great hit by Moore. Funny characters, Christmas cheer, brain eating zombies and an angel everything one wants in a great book. I would suggest listening to the Lust Lizard of Melancholy Cove before listening to the Stupidest Angel. I found myself arriving to work every morning in a great mood. It was great starting my mornings off with laughter.

This is one of the funniest books that I have ever read! I was in stitches from beginning to end. What a great, laugh out loud time. I know that it is listed as horror but it is the funniest horror book I have ever read. I am now one of Christopher Moore's biggest fans.

Enjoyed Moore's wit as always, but the narrator gives everyone (especially the female characters) a vaguely southern accent. Early on, i found myself wondering, Pine Cove is supposed to be in California, right?

What makes this one so much fun is that it reprises another of Moore's settings with characters from a previous book, The Lust Lizard of Melancholy Cove, several years after that first book. He also brings in characters from a few other books, so if you've read a lot of Moore you'll really appreciate this one. Tony Roberts does a great job on the reading and the story is, of course, incredible to say the least. Well written, funny, and the usual Moore insanity. Moore is probably not for everyone, but if you like Douglas Adams and/or Kurt Vonnegut, give this one a try.

I loved this book! Listed as horror, it's actually horror, drama, romance, mystery, all drenched with humor.

Many of the characters in this book were either drunk or high much of the time. I have a feeling that the author was also under the influence when he wrote this. Pass this one by before it is too late!

I agree that the title should have been the Stupidest Book". How did this get published? A few of the situations were funny, but overall very boring.

I think they titled this book The Stupidest Angel because the Stupidest book was already taken. Really, very poor. I am suprised this has recieved good reviews at all.

Fantastic entertainment! If you like Terry Pratchetts DISC World series or Jasper Fjords Spec Ops agents you will really enjoy this book tape. I was laughing out loud and sitting in my car a few minutes longer to keep listening. A very fun tape.

I didn't find this one very funny. Just a different sort of humor, I guess. Funny situations, but with rather crude development.

I've recently become addicted to Chris Moore's books; they're always packed with hilarity and absolutely bizarre situations. I guess that's why I like them - they interject a sense of craziness into my otherwise mundane life! The characters in The Stupidest Angel are all so vivid, the scenes, while whacked, are almost believable. I didn't like this one as well as "Lamb" or "Coyote Blue," but it definitely was a fun and entertaining listen. Don't bother with Chris' books if you can't suspend your disbelief for a while - his characters get into the weirdest situations!

This book was BIZARRE but very funny. I found myself laughing out loud in the car as I listened to it. Not what I expected from the narrative supplied, but definitely glad that I chose this one.

This is one of the funniest, laugh out loud books I have experienced. My husband would call me to laugh together about different parts after listening on the way to work. I have read others by the same author and enjoyed as well. Recommend to anyone who needs a good belly laugh.

This was so much fun to listen to! I've read several Christopher Moore books, and this didn't disappoint. Incredibly wacky characters get into situations that start strange and just get better and better. Just when you think it can't get wierder (is that a word?!) Christopher Moore manages to push it even further, with hilarious results. Fans of Moore's other books will recognize some characters from "Island of the Sequined Love Nun" and "Lust Lizard of Melancholy Cove." And the narrator was one of the best I've heard - so deadpan that it makes the story even funnier!

What a great change of pace this book is. Filled with completely wacked characters and unimaginable situations, this was one of those books I sat in my driveway listening to when I got home from work to find out what would possibly happen next. Both my husband and I laughed out loud at certain parts, but we have a pretty dark sense of humor. (There is some profanity, mild sexual situations and "eww" gross moments for anyone sensitive to that or with kids around) But this is really a good book in the same vein as Douglas Adams. I'd like to read more of Christopher Moore in the future!

This story was very unusual and funny. One of the characters battle with schizophrenia or multiple personality disorder was hysterical. It was one of lifes simple pleasures.
