Summary
From David Wong, the writer of the cult sensation John Dies at the End comes another terrifying and hilarious tale of almost Armageddon at the hands of two hopeless heroes.

Warning: You may have a huge, invisible spider living in your skull. THIS IS NOT A METAPHOR.

You will dismiss this as ridiculous fear-mongering. Dismissing things as ridiculous fear-mongering is, in fact, the first symptom of parasitic spider infection -- the creature stimulates skepticism, in order to prevent you from seeking a cure. That's just as well, since the 'cure' involves learning what a chainsaw tastes like. You can't feel the spider, because it controls your nerve endings. You won't even feel it when it breeds. And it will breed.

Just stay calm, and remember that telling you about the spider situation is not the same as having caused it. I'm just the messenger. Even if I did sort of cause it. Either way, I won't hold it against you if you're upset. I know that's just the spider talking.

'Like an episode of AMC's 'The Walking Dead' written by Douglas Adams of 'The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.' …Imagine a mentally ill narrator describing the zombie apocalypse while drunk, and the end result is unlike any other book of the genre. Seriously, dude, touch it and read it.' –Washington Post

'Kevin Smith's Clerks meets H.P. Lovecraft in this exceptional thriller… David Wong (Jason Pargin) is a fantastic author with a supernatural talent for humor. If you want a poignant, laugh-out-loud funny, disturbing, ridiculous, self-aware, socially relevant horror novel than This Book is Full of Spiders: Seriously Dude, Don't Touch It is the one and only book for you.' –SF Signal

One of the best audio books I have ever listened too. Both Content and Narrator are great. I'm glad I listened rather than read as the Narrator's performance really brings the story alive.

Crazy fun... I laughed out loud at Dave, John, Amy and Molly's exploits! The narration is top notch... it is one of those books that sounds great.... probably better than it reads. I'm looking for a new David Wong to read.

Absolutely crazy! I loved every minute of it. I gasped and cried more than I am proud of, but I also laughed my behind off. Very funny, crude and all sorts of creepy. The narrator also did such a great job with everyone's voices, I found myself looking forward to hearing certain characters come back just because of how well he did them. This is going in my favourites pile!

The narrator made the book. Without his reading, I wouldn’t have made it through the book. I found the story slow and repetitive until the last third of the book. It felt like the book was written to be a movie instead of a novel. While there was some humor laced throughout, there was also a lot of ridiculousness, crudeness and gore that didn’t add to the story at all.

Great book to listen to. Well written and the narration is spot on. Thoroughly enjoyed every moment, kept me coming back for more.

This is book 2, but you don't have to have read the first book. It is solidly gore-horror not creepy-horror. It's also comedic and I did laugh out loud a few times - but definitely not ROTFL. If you're a big fan of dick humor then you might laugh harder and more often than I did. The book is mostly action sequences which I thought dragged quite a bit in spots, but overall is an enjoyable listen if you're not in the mood to think. And if you're not bothered by the occasional deus ex machina. The narrator is excellent.

Suppose this book has its followers but I found it to be not my type. Nuff said!

This was a very fun read! The guy narrating was amazing! The story is unique too. Not too many horror comedy novels! When I say horror I mean full in horror...

If I was reading this, it wouldn't have been nearly as good because the narrator kicks ass! This book is great!

It is a good horror comedy. If you like the scp database you will probably like this book. Has a Neil patric Harris type of comedic value and a good amount of gruesome horror.
