Not for me. Juvenile style and surprisingly not so much hacking as conning and lying his way into phone companies & networks. I think the narration exaggerated the sophomoric humor and entitled, defensive attitude. I gave up after an hour or two.

Excellent! If you are in to technology and even remotely interested in learning about the life of a hacker then this audiobook is for you. I became interested in this book after listening to the Steve Jobs biography where they briefly touch on "phone freaking" and hacking. I wanted to learn a little more about the subject so I decided to give Ghost In The Wires a try. Honestly I never would have thought that I would have enjoyed this book so much. Ray Porter's narration really enhanced the experience for me. Overall, the story of Kevin Mitnick turned out to be extremely entertaining and a little scary. It certainly makes you wonder if there are people out there right now trying to do the same things he did... though with more of a "dark side" mentality.
