Unabridged Audiobook
We listened to this book as a family and it may be my favorite audiobook ever. The narration is wonderful, but the story of Tani and his family's journey is absolutely inspiring. I was thrilled to have my son listen to the wise words of Tani's father and mother was worth the entire book in and of itself. However, it only got better, as Tani's words were also so encouraging to my son who also loves chess. This is not just a book for those who like - or even understand - chess. This is a story of taking what life gives you and making the absolute best of your opportunities while humbly and gratefully accepting the gifts that others would like to share with you. I cannot recommend this book more.
