Unabridged Audiobook
Kind of boring — I love her but for some reason did not feel very inspired by the story. It seemed like she kind of won the success lottery and was able to veer away from the drama traps that other music talent trip on. I may finish it but demotivated to listen about halfway thru. The story doesn’t seem to have an arc.

I Loved the book! I laughed, cried, and absorbed the wisdom she shares. The relationships she has built with other artists speaks to her gift and ability to connect. This book has helped me to boost my confidence in myself, stand in my own gifts, while valuing and honoring everything and everyone around me. I love the authenticity and vulnerability of her story. I’ll be reading it again.

I had the book and began reading it but then got the audio book and the difference was incredible! Loved the various additional persons that spoke their messages at the start of certain chapters. Very entertaining.
She needs to do a ride along with police at night in bad neighborhoods to experience the job we give them . The first 1/2 of the book is fine then she gets delusional
This talent artist is far too impressed with herself. The name dropping and goings on.... newsflash, no one really cares!
I have so much respect and admiration for this woman! And of course her talent is incredible, but when you look deeper, her humanity and sense of fairness is remarkable. I loved every minute of this insightful book!
Soothing and lyrical, Alicia Keys paints a vivid picture of her life and career. I couldn't stop listening! I will absolutely be reading again. Side note: don't listen to this whole driving a long distance. TOO soothing!

I love how real and smart Alicia is. I like how there was featuring Swiss, Jay Z in each chapter, etc.
Loved this book; Alicia is so authentic in telling her story and her voice is soothing to listen to. Also loved her singing throughout the book was an added bonus.
I loved her from the first time she a performed on the Oprah Winfrey show, thank you Clive Davis. Even then, I felt she was wise beyond her years and after listening to her story I was right. Alisha, I am so happy for your success in the music industry, but more importantly, extremely proud of how you have used your platform to elevate the lives of so many others. I enjoyed the book immensely and have already recommended it to family and friends. Alisha has a very calming voice and having her narrate her life story was the cherry on top.
This book was all that I hoped it would be. It made me admire Alicia even more than before. I am amazed at the wisdom that she has as a young woman and thankful that she is willing to pass along all that she discovers on her journey to become more herself!

This was so inspiring. It motivated me to become more open minded and to get more knowledgeable. To love and TRY to listen to others perspectives.
A little long. But some very good take aways hidden throughout the book.

Alicia Keyes did an awesome job narrating her book. I loved hearing about her life's journey. She is a talented musician and she appears to be down to earth. I love you Alisha, keep up the good work. I would definitely recommend this book to others.
