The New York Times bestselling Queen of Twists returns…with a family reunion that leads to murder.

After years of avoiding each other, Daisy Darker’s entire family is assembling for Nana’s 80th birthday party in Nana’s crumbling gothic house on a tiny tidal island. Finally back together one last time, when the tide comes in, they will be cut off from the rest of the world for eight hours.

The family arrives, each of them harboring secrets. Then at the stroke of midnight, as a storm rages, Nana is found dead. And an hour later, the next family member follows…

Trapped on an island where someone is killing them one by one, the Darkers must reckon with their present mystery as well as their past secrets, before the tide comes in and all is revealed.

With a wicked wink to Agatha Christie’s And Then There Were None, Daisy Darker’s unforgettable twists will leave listeners reeling.

“Wow! Echoes of Christie's And Then There Were None but turned into something wonderfully original and wrapped in a genuinely creepy dysfunctional family fairy-tale of a novel, this takes Feeney to the next level. I LOVED IT!”
—Sarah Pinborough, bestselling author of Behind Her Eyes and Insomnia

So good! I’m listening again to find the Easter eggs I missed. If I say anything more I might give something away. A trilling mystery all the way til the end.

Slow paced and repetitive. I didn’t see the twist at the end coming, but I’m still not a fan. Sort of drawn out.

Even though it was a little slow paced and felt repetitive at times, the ending and twist was absolutely worth it. Usually that type of story line makes me roll my eyes, but this was amazing. It was emotional, gut wretching, and so much more. It’s so hard to say anything else without spoiling the story… but is 100% worth listening to. Not to mention the narrator is beyond talented- she brought so much life and emotion to the story.

I love me a good mystery - especially in October! And this one hit the spot for me. Excellent narration and well developed plot. Fair to say, you won’t likely guess the ending….

This was an excellent book that engaged my attention through the entire read. The climax of the story was unexpected and it makes me want to go back to the start to read again with a fresh perspective.
