Abridged Audiobook
This book was a little slow moving and too long. I think the author was more intent on getting his views across than writing a succinct story.
While I kept on listening, the fate of the client is never in question, and there is no real suspense at the conclusion. The hero lawyer, while soaked in altruism, has no chance of winning the case in this kangaroo court. His talents are completely wasted; and we all know it from the get go. Probably the best thing this does is paint a picture of a west African oil exporting country; fully replete with Nigerian type corruption.
Great Book, Patterson knows how to keep the suspense and action flowing.
