Unabridged Audiobook
Clark and Addie are on opposite sides of a world that shouldn't exist, both in more danger than they realise, and forced to face the consequences of their recent actions. I've just finished the audiobook of the third in the World Apart series and it was incredible! I always love anything written by Robin D Mahle and devoured the ebook back in June but the audio version is infinitely more emotional. I have never immediately connected to Addie and Clarke: they are so guarded and I'm more of a heart on my sleeve kind of girl but Cris Dukehart and Graham Halstead really brought across the couple's pain and bravery and I ended the book really admiring her. But let's face it. The Forgotten World includes my favourite ginger steampunk guy so that's my real takeaway
Once more, I need to say how well these narrators have done bringing one of my favorite series to life. I absolutely loved listening to this, even if it did keep me up until all hours of the night… despite having read it before. This book has all the feels! It’s heartbreaking, but these characters are so resilient. I just adore them.
