Unabridged Audiobook
Another page turner. Faith is saved from attackers on a French beach by a Waterloo veteran. She soon accepts a marriage of convenience to save her reputation but real love develops, as it can do with these marriages. Nicholas Blacklock however has a mysterious task which he must perform alone and tries to return Faith to her family in England. The feisty Faith soon discovers what is really going on and aborts the return home, eventually re-uniting with Nicholas. Matters are eventually resolved allowing some joyful HEA's .... to the sound of Scottish bagpipes! I really enjoyed this one .... highly recommended!
Adored this story and all the characters. Loved the narration. So happy to have found this series. Can’t wait until my next credit to move onto the next book.
