Unabridged Audiobook
The story is well put together and entirely enjoyable. And the characters are even better. You can easily see them coming back together for more family developments, dinners, and murder-solving outings. The medical angle is especially well-handled, realistic without being graphic. My only complaint is with the narrator. She is too drawn-out and affected for this sort of story.
This is a great cozy mystery. The author does a great job describing the settings and developing the characters. I loved that each chapter starts with an interesting fact about pregnancy. Overall it is a well thought out mystery that keeps you guessing. However, the narrator reads too slowly and doesn’t seem to be the right fit for the main character.
