Destroy the Corrupt

The crew grows! Both in people and their development! Especially Rivka and Jay! Rivka battles her past dislike of being a judge, jury and executioner; and her love of the law. She wants to do and be more. But she has to find a proper equilibrium. She makes some good progress in this book. And Jay is working towards becoming a person she can respect and be someone that can be “more” than the girl that was “imprisoned” on the ship. I love the addition of Lindy and the “Ankh-man!” The case (mission) in this one is quite a bit of a doozy. And I enjoyed the aspect of searching for the evidence to apply “RICO” to the case. (And I admit I only understand it because I watched The Dark Knight… haha!) The fact it is in space and spread across several planets is jaw-dropping when you try to put it into perspective for a crime boss…! I loved this case. Rivka and her trusty bodyguard are pushed to their limits pretty quickly once their enhanced bodies are put to test. Do yourself a favor and dive in to see for yourself!
