The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn [With Bonus E-Book]

Unabridged Audiobook

Narrated By: William Dufris

Publisher: Tantor Media

Duration: 9 hours 46 minutes

Summary:

Mark Twain defined classic as "a book which people praise and don't read"; The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn is a happy exception to his own rule. Twain's mastery of dialect, coupled with his famous wit, has made Huckleberry Finn one of the most loved and distinctly American classics ever written.

I'm in my 50s and am just now reading / listening to 'the classics'. Though not one of my favorites after 15ish books, it still tells a sad, yet sometimes wonderful story of how love and devotion can oftentimes overcome the worst of times. I do wish kids of today had an ability to imagine the way Huck and Tom did! But then, Huck and Tom were not addicted to their devices. The used their imaginations and brains. As for the narration - OUTSTANDING! Phil Grey
