One of the best books I've listened to all year. I loved hearing the main characters blog articles throughout the book and learning about the perspective of a non-American black person and what it means to be in America or the U.K. . I loved the love story and the family story. The narration was amazing! I loved listening to the emotion and the accents. Loved Aye-Merrriii-canaahhhh!

This is a wonderful story that is well told. Both provocative and entertaining. The timeline jumps around a bit which made it a little hard for me to follow but it all comes together towards the end.

Loved it! And as American Black woman, I really enjoyed the narration. Which Adichie book will I get next?!

I loved this book!!! I am a black American and I feel like I have just had the longest conversation with a Nigerian woman... A long conversation that I would otherwise not have had. I am glad that I listened to the book because I would have never imagined the dialect and the unwritten expressions... I love me some Adiche

Slow at the beginning. I was sad when it ended. A love story with a real life ending. The narrator was outstanding.

So good! I haven't listened to many audiobooks, but since I've been driving a lot, this was the perfect thing. In fact, whenever my drive was over, I'd often linger in a parking lot, mesmerized by Adichie's story and Adjoa's delivery, which includes different voices for the many characters.

Yes it's a story that we have all read before, just not quite like this! Beautiful. The narrator also did an amazing job! It's a book you'll want to read again and again.

Very interesting book and well presented. story has good pace and main characters are well developed. GREAT JOB!!! by the Narrator, the book has multiple characters from different parts of the world and narrator does an absolutely GREAT job with their accents it really adds something special to the audio book that couldn't be done in the paper book.

I couldn't put this down (or better yet, stop listening)...this was such a beautiful novel. Authentic, gripping, raw...I didn't want to ever lose the characters, they felt like dear friends.
