Cree is asked to help investigate a recently unearthed human skeleton—apparently a victim of the 1906 San Francicso earthquake—whose anatomical deformities have earned it the nickname Wolfman. I really enjoyed this book! I listened to the first two Cree novels and this is my favorite. I liked all three. The narrator was real good. It would be nice if Daniel Hecht wrote more of the Cree books.

I f you like Ann Rice books you may enjoy this. I am not that keen on the supernatural so it wasn't the best match for me. Nevertheless, it did hold my interest and the narrator did a great job.

I chose this story because it took place in San Francisco and goes back and forth between the 1906 earthquake and modern time with scholars digging at the past. But I just could not get into the story maybe it is me but it just seem to unreal to me. Would not recommend this story. The reader did a good job.
