Summary:

Is there credible evidence that Jesus of Nazareth really is the Son of God? Retracing his own spiritual journey from atheism to faith, Lee Strobel, former legal editor of the Chicago Tribune, cross-examines a dozen experts with doctorates from schools like Cambridge, Princeton, and Brandies who are recognized authorities in their fields. Strobel challenges them with questions like How reliable is the New Testament? Does evidence exist for Jesus outside the Bible? Is there any reason to believe the resurrection was an actual event? Strobel's tough, point-blank questions make this remarkable book read like a captivating, fast-paced novel. But it's not fiction. It's a riveting quest for the truth about history's most compelling figure. What will your verdict be in The Case for Christ?

captivating topic that I originally thought would be boring. However I was pleasantly surprised. I learned a lot about historical Jesus that prompted me to dig deeper through some of the authors sources. Great listen! I look forward to liste to another one of his books Case for Faith and Case for Creation.

I have no problem believing the Bible and every word of it. The truthfulness of the Bible has never been a question in my mind since I was raised in a Christian home and had lots of good teaching. I have seen all my life the positive effects of someone who’s living in tune with God’s word, that’s evidence enough for me. But for someone who has questions and doubts about the validity and authority of the Bible, this is the book for you. Well researched and documented, the evidence laid out in this book cannot be refuted or denied. However, it’s a very good read for anyone, even to those who already believe the Bible, it helps to equip us with answers and information to give to the critic or the one who is truly seeking!
