In the ancient world of Middle-earth--a place of elves and dwarves, orcs and wizards, the darkest evil and the brightest good--a hobbit named Frodo Baggins embarks on a perilous quest: to carry the One Ring, ruler of all the Rings of Power, into the shadowy land of Mordor and destroy it in the fires where it was forged.

This is pretty bad. The story is great, regardless, but really after seeing the LOTR movies, I want to hear those actors read it. I guess maybe I'm spoiled.

The story is fine. My only complaint is about Frodo and Sam's voices.

Very, very, very difficult to listen to. Confusing and not all that enjoyable. You would be better off to simply see the movie or read the book.

Bad. Don't waste your time. Better off actually reading the book or just seeing the movie. The narration is poor and hard to follow.
