By far the best Star Wars book I've ever read/listened to!

I liked this. Old story from a different perspective . Did not add much to the main story but was interesting. Plus a pretty good love story

Interesting story but it was too much of a love story between 2 friends that ironically ended up in the middle of the classic Star Wars trilogy events. The narration was dreadful...it was a real effort on my part to finish listening to this book. I was very disappointed because I had heard so many great things about this book and the author Claudia Gray. I sure hope Bloodline is much better.

Fantastic Book! Gives a fascinating look on the original trilogy! This is a must listen for any star wars fan!

After listening to the book the only real part applicable to the force awakens is the last couple of chapters; the rest is just lead up. Then at the end the book I felt leaves you hanging for the next book but there is not next book.

This was great!!!!! I am looking forward to the next one.

Excellent and entertaining! If you are a Stars Wars fan, it's a must. Adventures, familiar characters, and some new sides to old stories.

A must-read book for fans of Star Wars, particularly the original trilogy (Episodes IV-VI). The book gives an alternate view of the events in the movies, focusing on young pilots in the Imperial Army who are up against the Rebels. It gives a very interesting look at how the dark side can sway even the best of people into serving an evil force and how much the actions of the Rebels can affect them. A few chapters into this I wasn't too sure I would love it as I just realized then that this is a Young Adult novel. A lot of the themes and language are somewhat juvenile, but I got used to the style and forgot about that thanks to the compelling story and characters. Listened to this one on audiobook and it was great! Good reader who does unique voices and the music, effects and production value were all top notch.

I'd heard a lot of great things about this book, and I love Star Wars so I went right ahead and downloaded it, and it ended up being very different than I expected, but I thought it was a great book! You really start to care for the characters because they are so well fleshed out, and the story really is deeply connected to them. It doesn't entirely rely on the universe of Star Wars and I believe if it were a love story in any other universe it could stand on its own as an amazing story. I'm really hoping we will see a sequel soon :) also I'm not someone who ever really reads heavily romance centric novels, and I'm kind of over most books in the YA section, but this one is definitely worth your time.
