There's some good material in this book, but the problem is that it offers no case studies or detailed examples. It provides endless keys to apply but generally does not show how to apply them. As a result though some of the ideas are common knowledge or make good sense, the book didn't convince me of their application nor showed me the best manner (or any manner) to apply them. Finally the book does cover leadership principles, but very little of vision so its title implying a broader scope is not correct.

Looking to be a better leader? Well, don't think that this book will make you one after listening to it only once. It is jam-packed with essentials for becoming a great leader. I had to listen to it about 3-4 times...just to be able to remember all of the great ideas discussed in it....and I lead a project team for a State grant! This is one important book to have.
