Unabridged Audiobook
3 word to describe this book 1. profound 2. eye opening 3. meaningful must read
Wonderful book and such an amazing and wise human being Viktor Frankl. It helped me a lot. I have listened to it several times, it is so interesting, and human kind has so much to learn about it. Now I will persue logotherapy.
Although I am not convinced that logo therapy is the appropriate conclusion, these lived stories and this theory allow for a greater understanding of something that I don't yet fully understand. That could be because I do not have a full understanding of the therapy, though. This book is a necessary read for everyone. It reminds us of what it takes to survive not out of instinct but through hope that we can all find within ourselves. Sometimes our instinct is to just give up, but hope, however quietly, begs that we keep going on.
Fantastic book that dare refocus your mind on what is important and why it is important. The author able to use the horrific travail he endured in a Nazi Concentration Camp and provide useful information, perhaps the most useful information that one can use to provide direction and purpose to their life. Time spent reading this book is time well spent.
Amazing how human beings can still find meaning after their horrific experience in the concentration camps. Inspiring indeed!
Definitely reading again and taking notes the second time. Very deep, profound, interesting, and challenges your mind and human nature.
Every person should listen to/read this book.
Stupid is as stupid does....
“Gripping”!
great book. monotone though
Insightful, eye-opening, gives hope :) Brief, so not the widest and most profound description about concentration camps. Similarly not super deep into philosophical aspects and for instance logotheraphy. Can be thought as a concise and efficient intro or summary on those both.
Great narrator; so-so on the book itself.
was nice enough, but a bit over my head. On my second listen I picked up more from the book.
Great reading and interesting and good to listen and learn
Good enough to warrant a second listen at dome point. Certainly not a casual listen. Edifying for sure. Did not at all care for the narration or narrator.
Thought provoking
a true classic
Very good book
This book will stay on my shelf to revisit throughout my life. Beautifully written and a reminder to let go and let your life flow.
You will definitely take away something from this . Personally I took a lot.
One of the best books ever. S story of strength, hope, spirituality and genius. An inspiration.
