Unabridged Audiobook
I liked this book better than all the other books in the series, although I enjoyed the entire series. I loved the authors ability to capture the way young girls talk to each other. The conversations between the young girls are extraordinary! I have also enjoyed the interactions between the detective - partners in these books. The author has managed to make each detective a unique individual And the interactions between the detectives interesting and believable. The narration in all of these books is wonderful. I especially enjoyed the way the narrators capture the various accents that would probably be heard in Ireland.
Wish there were more! Loved all books in series. Excellent narrator!!
Very entertaining. Well told and due to some in-depth imagery descriptions, well visualized!
A bit disappointed by this Tana French novel compared to others of hers. Still a good listen but others of hers rate higher. Found the female narrator distracting but she had a more difficult job handling the teenage girls than the male narrator who did a fine job with the detective's role.
So dark. Younger people/teenagers seem like jerks throughout. Projects stereotypes, depressing.
The story is garbage. I had to get the audio book because I kept falling asleep reading the actual book and this was for a book club so I made to get through it!
