    Worth buying or renting again. More like healthy eating than Low Carb.

    This book had a lot of basics, but the 2nd CD gave me a lot of insight on things I did not know at all before. Why would you want foods that digest slower, how can the same foods be digested slower than others? The only downside to the South Beach Diet is it does not tackle working out. I had about 10 lbs. to lose and lost 5 the first two weeks. Of all the diets it does seem like one that people can stick with for a long time. It starts out like a "healthy" atkins, then progresses into more of a Zone type diet. I bought the cook book and feel this is one that will last.
