Unabridged Audiobook
This book starts strong and ends in a steaming pile of garbage. The stories become contrived and tedious, the characters losing steam over time despite overwhelming circumstance. I can't believe I finished this book. It was a drudge at the end. But, I had made it so far. I wanted to like this book, but the characters are so distant and feeble. No one to root for. No one to admire. I don't think even one good thing happens to any character in the entire book. Who is this book even written for? I can't imagine an Indian person enjoying it. It's lost on an isolated island by itself. There was one redeeming scene, but it made no sense for the story, so it was a bit of a waste. I don't recommend this book at all. The reader was very good, however, doing many great voices. Impressed.
