Couldn’t follow the story most of the time and thought, in some places, the narrator sounded like Winnie the Pooh.

Very well narrated! HP Lovecraft is often hard to read, let alone say out loud. Loved the book

It’s a good listen, but it’s definitely a different style for me. Not bad at all

First time listening to Lovecraft. Loved it. And the narrator did a brilliant job of voicing the characters

I found it interesting, but I'm not a big fan of Lovecraft and his writing. It's to be on my comprehension and interest, but I keep hearing how wonderful he is and I keep hoping to find a book that interests me but he is a little too weird for my taste.

Quite enjoyable! My only criticism is that the narrator pronounces Dunwich incorrectly. It's pronounced "Dull-itch".

Great narration of some classic Lovecraft!

Pretty good Lovecraft novelette, although the dark atmosphere of inbreeding and fear becomes silly once the monster are actually revealed. The narrator is perfect for the story, gets the decadent and decaying American 1920s rural atmosphere just right.

Good narrator but the story was only OK. Alright for something short to listen to.

This is my fourth of Lovecraft’s stories, and I love the third person perspective. The narrator was fine, though sometimes his character voices ran together and sounded the same. Other than that though it was great! Would definitely recommend for a Lovecraft fan.

The narration kept breaking up on this book for the first several chapters. The book itself was really good and I enjoyed it but the quality of the narration took a lot of the enjoyment out of it.

One of my favorite Lovecraft stories, capturing the essence of his horror genre. Narrator did ok, clear and understandable, tried to distinguish character voices, didn’t go over the top on his delivery.

This was great! The narrator was spectacular and even did spooky sound effects. I think anyone could get a kick out of this old-fashion sci-fi!

Not my favorite Lovecraft, but a good addition to his universe. Very quick listen, good for an in between book, while waiting for the next download credit.

As an old Science Fiction it's relative to the time written. Always interesting to listen to early sci fi minds.
