Perfection. Lisa Jewell is brilliant at observation and writing character led action. She creates characters we care about and though her touch is light precision, there is profound depth and understanding of the psyche and universal emotion.
The story had everything to be a great story, but it just didn't happen. I didn't enjoy the narration; this may have contributed to the failing of this story
