Abridged Audiobook
Outstanding series!!
Love Stephanie Plum. I would love to have a Ranger of my own. Narration and Ranger are what keeps me coming back for more.
Love this series! Excellent narration! Janet Evanovich introduces new characters as well as revisiting the familiar! Great Plot!
A fun listen! Love the narrator's skill with voices.
This book is excellent. The continuity of the story is amazing. Grrat laugh out old read"m
Excellent. One of the author's best. Naration wonderful, as usual.
I loved this book. It was an interesting, tricky story but I laughed out loud OFTEN throughout the story. The narration was EXCELLENT. The story had wonderful characters.
I've read all the books up until now and this is the first one I've listened to. I LOVE the book and the story but really dont care for the reader. The characters have very unrealistic and obnoxious voices but I like the books so much it's worth still listening to.
AGAIN - GREAT LISTENING - I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEXT BOOK TO SHOW UP
This is only the second Janet Evanovich book that I have read, but I really enjoyed it. I would have given it 5 stars, but I really didn't like the narrator, Lorelei King. I found her style so annoying, that I almost didn't finish the book. A narrator can make or break an audiobook. It's too bad that a reader can't choose between narrators.
Another good one. Kept me on edge (in a fun sort of way). Janet always comes up with great twists. I'll be back for more.
I love this series, and actually would rather listen than read. Lorelei King is the best narrator by far, I laugh out loud when I hear her do the Gramma Masur voice :) I can't get enough of this series, and my only complaint is that lorelei did not read the earlier books, which I am catching up on. It is annoying to listen to the other narrators.
As engaging as the Stephanie Plum character is, Evanovich ran out of material for this series six books ago. Enough, Janet. It's the same-old, same-old all over again.
ITS ALWAYS FUN TO READ ABOUT STEPHANIE PLUM. I DONT KNOW HOW JANET KEEPS COMING UP WITH NEW ADVENTURES BUT IT IS ALWAYS A GOOD READ.
Not bad. The series is starting to get a little thin.
Another winner by Janet Evanovich. I love the dysfunctional relatives and friends...makes my own seem a little more mainstream. There is a really excellent interview with Janet at the end. The reader Lorilei King interviews her about the series and upcoming sequels. This one is a bit darker than some, a bit more edgy but still has the humor of Granma Maussa and Lula. What would you do if the scrumptious hunk Ranger was hiding out in your apt. and boyfriend Joe came to stay because you were in danger? I won't spoil the fun. It's good.
Ok, I'm staring to think Stephanie Plum is a ho. What's so hard about picking one leading man? Each book seems to be the same, Stephanie doesn't grow in character (even though I keep hoping she will). And am I the only one that thinks the character of Lula is a stereotype, one that doesn't fit any real black woman alive? Would I recommend this book to a friend? I would tell that friend, if you've read the other 11 Stephanie Plum books then this one is EXACTLY like all the others (except 1 and 2 were actually good).
Love Stephanie Plum, loved this book. Just the thing I needed to keep me entertained on the way to and from work!
I'd have preferred the abridged version, but true to Janet Evanovich form, you will surely be entertained. This is well worth the listen.
This is the third book I've read in the Stephanie Plum series. I really do love the writing of Janet Evanovich. She combines suspense, romance and a lot of laughter in all her books. This book was probably not my favorite of the series but it was good. Laughed a lot!!
