I am a Combat Viet Nam Veteran and cannot believe someone with a military record described in this book would have the Guts or the B---s to even try to run for any type of government job much less the President of the United States. This is a book that all US citizens need to read. The book is well written the person it is written about is discusting. In my eyes I don't think he really qualifies as a real Viet Nam Vet Much less a Veteran of any Branch of the service. Have as many friends as possible read this book. I can't believe the people of Mass. elected this person or would elect him again. They need to open their eyes.

If the conclusion is that John Kerry successfully self inflicted three Purple Heart wounds with his own hand grenades, then that is quite a talented candidate indeed. I feel that many people are bitter by the anti-war moves of John Kerry after coming back from Vietnam and that has lead to this story of half-truths and distortions. I would like an unbiased version of the events. I may have deemed him unfit to command by that, but will never know. This book certianly was not credible enough to sway me either way.

This audiobook only confirms that John F. Kerry was modeling himself after another "JFK" , trying to fabricate a history of military accomplishments, and had he had won the Presidency, would have been Iraq's best asset AGAINST the United States. Contrary to many opinions, this was NOT a politically biased rendition of facts, but the truth based on THE TRUTH. Republicans, Democrats and Independents should read/ listen to this book. Regardless of one's opinions of President Bush, Kerry would not and could not have been a better or even equal alternative to our current incumbant President. Kerry hopefully will NEVER ascend to Leader of The Free World, and Democrats will need to distance themselves from the Kerry stigma, as well as remodel their platform in order to re-establish themselves as a viable political party.

As a combat veteran and military retiree, I find it very difficult for someone to get 3 Purple Hearts, a Silver Star, and a Bronze Star having spend only four months in the combat zone. This book shows the true John Kerry and I recommend it for those voters in the Commonwealth of Mass for the next senatorial races. It is quite obvious that John Kerry's version of what happened in Vietnam and the people who served with Kerry are two different versions. I highly recommend it for people who have served in the military and especially for combat veterans and decide for yourself who version is much more accurate. John O'Neill and Jerome Corsi should be commended for their continue pursuit of the truth. I will read John Kerry's books in the near future to understand his perspective. I'm glad that he was not elected President. His credibility is certainly waning.

Extremely interesting and informative and a very different perspective. If even 1/2 of the book is accurate, thank goodness for the election outcome.
