Unabridged Audiobook
Wow, what a host of revealing truths. The British really did start slavery, beginning with whites; then blacks. The narrator had very little emotion or inflection, but I liked it better this way. The facts speak for themselves.
I was astounded by the information this book carried. It is really not a well known fact and I appreciated being educated on it. It seemed well researched and detailed in the way it was put together. However, the presentation was rather dry and academic (which somehow made it even more shocking), and felt lacking in warmth and empathy somehow. Perhaps a different narrator with a more varied tonal quality would have improved it. I enjoyed it and believe it was something I needed to know, but think it will have a limited audience.
what a load of rubbish
