Unabridged Audiobook
What an amazing story. At first I found the author/narrators strong accent and speech impediment very distracting however by the last page I’d really accepted her completely and wouldn’t change a thing! Such a hopeful and encouraging story on all sorts of levels. What courage it must have taken to put this book out there. Genuine, authentic and honest - I came to live this 2nd book as much as the 1st and now into the 3rd.
After enjoying reading The Salt Path, I was looking forward to reading The Wild Silence. Sadly, this book was disappointing because it felt disjointed, too long, over written and as though the author had been asked to write a second book without enough good content.
Brilliant book as was the Salt Path, didn’t want it to end
