'Reads like Agatha Christie got together with Paula Hawkins to crowdsource a really fun thriller' Stylist

A PASSENGER IS MISSING...BUT WAS SHE EVER ON BOARD AT ALL?

This was meant to be the perfect trip. The Northern Lights. A luxury press launch on a boutique cruise ship.

A chance for travel journalist Lo Blacklock to recover from a traumatic break-in that has left her on the verge of collapse.

Except things don't go as planned.

Woken in the night by screams, Lo rushes to her window to see a body thrown overboard from the next door cabin. But the records show that no-one ever checked into that cabin, and no passengers are missing from the boat.

Exhausted and emotional, Lo has to face the fact that she may have made a mistake - either that, or she is now trapped on a boat with a murderer...

Praise for THE WOMAN IN CABIN 10:
' Scary and unsettling, it's' edge-of-your-seat stuff' The Sun
'A tense, moody drama set on a press trip that goes horribly wrong... a brilliantly claustrophobic setting' Sunday Times
'A twisty puzzle' Shari Lapena
'Terrifically tense' Good Housekeeping

Good plot line but I failed to connect with the main character....a little too flighty victim for me!

Although I find Imogen Church one of the most talented of narrators, even she couldn’t rescue this hyperbolic car crash. As with all of Ms. Ware’s writing, it maintained an histrionic pitch throughout. She has failed to grasp that, like music, writing needs light and shade, differing tempo and expression. All is delivered fortissimo, peppered with exaggerated and wholly unnecessary adverbs and adjectives. It’s like being shouted at for hours without respite or contrast. Ludicrous, unbelievable mediocrity with superficial characterisation.

A slow, slow story. The constant repetition of the girl’s feelings makes me wonder about listening to first-person books in the future. Tough job for the narrator, but I guess she did OK under the circumstances.

Couldn't bear her constant whinging!! Didn't finish it as I just didn't care enough about Lo. Good narration though.

Repetitive and slow moving for a thriller, but that made it good listening for a long night trip.

Rather a slow read. Not gripping. In some spots just plain boring. Would not recommend it. Still waiting for some amazing twist. Almost too late though.

I really enjoyed this book. If you enjoyed The Girl on the Train, this is a must read.

A delightful sweet story which made me laugh as well as feel sad.
