Jayden Andrews is a correctional officer, a father, and a husband trying to hold together a life that never slows down long enough to hold him back.

At home, chaos looks like crayons on walls, arguments over markers, and laughter buried under exhaustion. It’s messy, loud, and painfully ordinary.

At work, it’s something else entirely.

When a routine day inside Dayton County Jail turns violent, Jayden makes a decision that he doesn’t have time to fully think through—only to live with. What follows is not just injury, or survival, or recovery.
