The 13th Cardinal

Maggie Magdalene has spent her life serving the Church — fully aware that as a woman, the Vatican's highest offices would never be open to her.

Until a dying Pope changes everything.

In his final act, the Pope issues a secret decree naming Maggie the first female Cardinal in Church history, opening doors that have been locked for two thousand years; including the Vatican's most restricted archive. An archive where knowledge has been carefully guarded by forces far older and far more deliberate than the Church alone.

What she begins to find inside the hallowed halls of the Vatican will challenge everything she was taught to believe. But before she can dig deeper, a revelation about her family bloodline forces Maggie to confront a truth closer to home — she is the descendant of a powerful Witch, the inheritor of a Book of Shadows. Now she stands at the intersection of two worlds that were never supposed to meet.

What she does with two thousand years of suppressed truth — whether to protect it, release it, or simply survive knowing it — is a question she hasn't yet answered when she discovers that the forces guarding that knowledge will not quietly allow its release.

A Cardinal's ring on one hand.

An ancient legacy in the other.

And a choice that could change everything.
