Unabridged Audiobook
YES! Such a great read! What an interesting premise! I chose this book from a handful of free VIP books! I am so happy I picked this book! From the beginning to the end I was engaged! I finished book 1 and paid the credit for book 2! What a cool storyline!
The 1st & 2nd Book were amazing! I was hooked. I couldn't put the books down.
It started out great but by the end there was so much repetition of “confusion” and these “im confused!! Who are you!??” Conversations were pedantic and pointless that at the end of the book I did not bother to get book 2. Im disappointed. I like long books but there was 2 hours worth of filler that was irritating by hour ten.
Good story / good twists and turns / sometimes repetitive but no too bad. I think it would make a great movie.
I judge books by how often I need to rewind because I can’t pay attention. I probably only hit the back button once or twice during this whole book. It kept me interested laughing out loud at some parts. I will be continuing the series.
Most titles have not held my interest like this storyline did. But I am partial to science fiction so this was understandable. A fun ride through various time periods but all within a thirty year span. Wanted to continue with book two right away p so must have caught my curiosity. Based in Stockholm Sweden and I could not help thinking if I had lived there and knew the city I would have appreciated the story all the more.. I even found myself using google maps to look up some locations mentioned in the book!
As usual this narrator is brilliant. Loved the book. It’s a real adventure with constant twists and turns.
I can’t tell if this is the worst author ever, or if he just thinks that his readers are stupid. The writing is terrible! The dialogue is ridiculous, the characters inner dialogue is idiotic. The twist at the end is dumb, too. It’s a blatant set up for the rest of this series. And I can’t believe anyone would actually consider continuing it. (I’m actually surprised that I finished THIS one) The single most annoying thing…? The phrase… ”I don’t understand” ”I don’t understand” ”I don’t understand” ”I don’t understand” And “you’re not making any sense” Before you read (listen to) this book, take a guess how many times you’ll encounter these phrases. Go on, guess. You’ll be off by a factor of ten.
I just loved it. I enjoyed all the twist and turns. I just bought book2 and I think I will start reading it right away. Also the narrotor did an excellent job.
Good series. Kept my interest.
Good story. Sometimes too much repetitive worries.
Really enjoyed.
I thoroughly enjoyed books 1 and 2 and am working on book 3 now.
Glad it was free. The concept is great but the delivery of the story is lacking. The main character is suppose to be a attorney, but he is portrayed as being almost dim whited and slow to think. The rest of the series probably improves but I will not waste any credits on it. The story moves way too slow.
It was a exciting to listen to
Interesting and fun story I’m glad I happened upon it!!!
Interesting concept. has some misses but overall its a good listen. Will be getting the 2nd book to hear how this story plays out.
A twist of a dimension / time travel adventure. Nice story
Excellent, inventive story. Soo good I have listened to it twice over the past few months. Have the follow-up, equally good and also three others from Jesper Ersgard and now Joakin Ersgard.
Good read and twist and turns. Picked this up and book two in the free VIP section.
very enjoyable with plenty of twists
Lots of twists and turns. Story and plot were excellent. Sometimes repetitive.
amazing story!!!!
Didn’t know what to expect with this one, very pleasantly surprised how good it was.
Brilliant science fiction with a very human hero. Time travel in a completely different and unexpected way. Can’t wait to read the next one. Jesper Ersgard has become my favourite author of the last five years. I consider him the Dan Brown of Sweden.
Really enjoyed this time travel tale so much so that I've bought Book 2!
Entertaining. Despite the time travel issues the listener can easily follow the story. Looking forward to book 2
Love it. Can't wait to get into the other two books. Narrator was very good. Story was very captivating. Edge of my seat the whole time.
Jespwr Ersgard books are criminally under rated!
Great book
really enjoyed this book!
One of the best books I’ve ever had the pleasure to read. It probably helps that I love time travel stories, but the writing and narration were great and I look forward to book 2!
Great book some decent twists that keep it interesting
This book was awesome. The narrator did a great job.
I wasn't sure at first. But it literally drag me in. I couldn't turn it off.
I had to listen to three hours of before it got exciting. Once three hours in, it was decent but that's a very long time to wait a story before it gets good.
Loved this story
Looking forward to next release
thought provoking
Very interesting approach to the plot. Entertaining and I will go on to finish the series.
A twist in time travel which I thought was quite interesting. Good story line and excellent narration.
Interesting idea, felt the characters were a bit dense sometimes and sped up the playback because it was read too slowly for my taste, but I do want to know what's going to happen next. Like the setting of Stockholm too.
I absolutely loved this trilogy that kept me gripped throughout. In fact, I base my knowledge of Swedish history off of this series.
John Chancer enhances the story by his interpretation. enjoyed listening
very well written and entertaining book.
The story premise is interesting but the lead character is very annoying - so much confusion and repetition - the reveals move at snails pace
The basis of the story is quite interesting, but to my mind the development of the plot could have been somewhat better. Nevertheless I am somewhat inclined to also read/listen to the remaining two books in this series.
Terrific plot, unconvincing main character, good narrator.
I didn’t want it!!!!
Book was great
I liked this free one so much that I bought the next one in the series! I need to know what happens!
Bit repetitive but interesting story well told by the narrator.
