Continuing on from his previous 2 books Yuval Noah Harari has produce another thought provoking read/listen, extending and explaining some previously presented concepts and introducing some new ones. Derek Perkins is an excellent narrator, well suited to the book's nature. This is a book that deserves or demands a second or third reading/listening to capture the ideas in full.

A 4 star rating since it's a great challenge to write a book on what is 21st Century all about, and to give it a perspective that is unbiased, and devoid of 'fiction' that is created by humans themselves. This book is a reflection of how complex our world is, and how complicated it is to write all this in a book in a language compréhensible to us. I must say I was a bit lost in many parts as I didn't find a conclusion. But I guess that's the point isnt it Mr. Harari? Thank you for this good read.

I really enjoyed 21 Lessons for the 21dt Century! It's no sci-fi version of a dystopian future, instead it's thoughtful advice about what we can do in the present.

Another absolutely riveting and thought provoking read. Harari has the ability to break concepts down and make them understandable. Will definitely be re-listening to this soon, as I did with the previous two books. The narrator is brilliant.

My first audiobook. A revelation. Hearing a text so well read is both very entertaining and extremely engaging. I remember much more. I sense more, particularly the humor in this case (note that I am a native French speaker). I have read Mr. Harari previous books and found this one as interesting as the others. It is interesting to discuss the world and its global challenges from various viewpoints. I certainly will listen to it a second time.

This book is great knowledge for those who want an executive summary on the rapid developments in technology and it's impact to mankind. It also touches on fundamental question we all need to ask ourselves, can AI coexist with human values? Are we on the brink of digital dictatorship? What is religion in the face of technology advancements? How can we stay sane and be fully in control of our own mind instead of being controlled by technology? In general this a great philosophical book.
