The first story was not a mystery at all. Very little story with too simple of a storyline. The second story was much more interesting

Okay. Not as enticing as the usual Patterson books

Just finished "Fallen Ranger." This is one of the most exciting and enjoyable audio books I can remember, from any of several companies/apps that I use. The pace is very quick, but the characters remain clear. The story has many wonderful, twists and turns, but remains easy to follow, keeping you on the edge of your seat. This one is difficult to pause. The story, the characters, the narration are all top notch. Highly recommend.
