Unabridged Audiobook
I am not a gamer! I loved this book! The author does a fantastic job of weaving the gaming world with real world. I kept thinking ‘this is Tron on steroids!’ Excited to start book 2.
Great book! Love the way it all evolves. But at times it is hard to follow who, and what timeline.. i do chores and other work while listening to audio books. Cant just sit there you know. But you really have to focus sometimes or you miss key things to make it make sense. Because of all the jumping between character storys and flashbacks, I have never had to rewind as much as with this book.
love it can't wait for the next one
Great story for anyone who has played games like this. Loved how the games story weaves throughout the real life. Really enjoyed the authors work, good voices and easy to listen to
A fun and enjoyable gaming book. I love listening.
Great story looking for other two now.
Interesting enough story but neither the writing or reading are very good.
Story was just alright. I never felt immersed in Jeff’s character. The narrator voiced the different characters well.
Was a very good book. Will be looking to get the other two in this series.
Very interesting story. Great narrator.
Well done good read
Talia’s character alone makes this book worth listening to! Amazing job by the narrator! Highly recommended
So good I love the entire series and all of the side book but this one was just wow! Every character from gork to the main character they are all amazingly well-written and breathe life into the story. I also like the prequels perspective I was always interested in Robert Osborne and his team and this is just another amazing look into those amazing characters. The action is not a huge focal point in this book however when it's there it's extremely well-written. The narrator did an absolutely phenomenal job with all the different voices and different inflections for all the characters. In a nutshell, you should read this book you will not regret it in the slightest.
Daniel Thomas May impressed me with his work on this title. He has an impressive variety of voices. This is a really good prequel that helps explain the events leading up to VGO.
