Unabridged Audiobook
The narrator is so off putting I couldn’t listen for longer than an hour. The narrator is far too dramatic and every sentence so exaggerated. Very disappointed.
The narrator did hes best with cringeworthy material that this book is. Really bad fictional story interspersed with minimal actual advice.
A must read.
Fisrt I was surprised that this book is acutally a novel, written in non-typical self-help/personal development style. First I was confused, and then I just loved it! The real clarification of the concept is in the last few chapters of the book. Also this is my fist audiobook I have ever listened to, I was always a book lover, but I read them in hard copy or on Kindle, never listened to them, so this was also a new expereience for me. The narrator has a nice voice, but would love to hear a woman narrator for female roles.
Not impressed so far. Been listening for 2hours and the book isn’t entertaining or informative. Frankly it’s been boring. I’m hoping it gets better.
I read 4hrs in, and when at that time there was still only cliché rubbish pep talk, I decided to skim through, and turns out all the frameworks, etc. were more of the same.
Overdramatic narrator. Unbearable
I loved The Everyday Hero by Robin and thought this may be in a similar style. I was greatly surprised that the book is of a novel style. Found the narration to be quite cartoonish and after around 2 hours my hope of 'getting used to it' faded away. This may be more palatable or impactful when read rather than listened to. Great concept. I am up at 6am today which is my earliest for a while so I do love the concept of the book.
Unless you are a well off, middle class person with no caring commitments this book is of no use to you.
What's not to love about the 5am Club, I have been living this life for so many years now and it is great to gain additional understanding of the science behind why it is so integral to upgrading your day and life! Highly recommend this book.
Great book. Wish I had read it when I was still a young adult.
An easy and inspiring listen.
I was looking forward to this book as everyone was talking about it. But it was hard to listen. The story is very predictable and the way of telling it is a little bit too much. The ideas behind are valid, but the way it is written does not cause you to reflect, but rather put ideas in your mind.
I found the book a hard listen and battled to get the jest of it. Little dragged out for the actual mentor ship. The narrator changes voices and accent.... strange enough, I found this quite irritating..... 5am is a hard listen. .....
Life changing book...loved it.
