Unabridged Audiobook
This book is a tour de force. As close to an instruction manual for life you can get.
Excellent book written by a person who truly understands meaning and purpose in life. Sahil talks about his own personal experience where he explains his arrival fallacy, and his journey in life thereafter! As someone who earned early career financial success, his book explores wealth beyond just money and what matters in life regarding wealth through time, people, purpose, and health, or what he calls the 5 types of wealth: Time Wealth, Social Wealth, Mental Wealth, Physical Wealth, and Financial Wealth. He shares stories where he has encountered with life through measuring it beyond just money. The book has some amazing famous quotes within it, such as, "What gets measured, gets managed." - Peter Drucker and the book guides people to enable people towards their goals beyond just earning money, and what investment professionals typically manage. By no means does the author say that money does not matter, yet rather explains what he calls the "broken scoreboard" and how the there are a lot of other things to measure. The book really makes you stop and think about the most important things in life. This is not only a book on being wealthy, yet rather the author explores what most people do not measure when it comes to what it really means to be wealthy. The book is very well spoken, and thought provoking from the self-proclaimed wealthiest author in the world as of this writing. I'd highly recommend this book for anyone who wants a life of purpose, and strong relationships. As with any self-development book, you have to act, and read this book to make things happen.
