What listeners say
The audiobook presents a thought-provoking examination of AI and information flow, with many listeners finding its insights valuable and relevant to current issues. It is praised for its extensive research and interdisciplinary connections. However, some listeners find the content repetitive and struggle to discern its central argument. The material is dense, prompting repeated listens for full comprehension. Overall, it serves as a significant contribution to discussions on AI's historical and societal impact.

Absolutely fantastic. For me as a engineering technology developer and IR student this book is a essential to connect related disciplines.

Despite some exaggerations (my feeling) the book delivers a great historical perspective on AI and information flow for the humanity.

I tried but I failed, this book is repetitive and I really struggle to understand the point

There are some provocative insights. We are asked to believe that these are "argued" from a "brief history". In fact they are asserted alongside a far-from-brief list of factoids, hypotheticals, opinions, "consequently"s and "as previously noted"s.

Truly thought provoking, at most relevant in current world. A must read.

A lot of research and information!
